It’s official: birdcage veils and padded headbands are BIG news for 2025 weddings!

The experts at online wedding planning website Hitched have revealed their 2025 Wedding Trends Report - and I was thrilled when they chose my designs to be part of a gorgeous editorial photoshoot to showcase their top 10 trend predictions for weddings next year.

According to Hitched, 2025 weddings are set to be all about playful elegance - and birdcage veils and padded headbands are at the top of the bridal styling list for this key theme.

These beautifully styled images show how my designs perfectly complement next year’s hottest trends, from playful mini dresses and heart-shaped wedding cakes to luxe venues and intimate weddings. And I couldn’t be more excited to share some of the details with you.

The Hitched 2025 Wedding Trends Report: Behind the Shoot

Every year, Hitched reveals the trends set to dominate the wedding world, and 2025 is no exception. This year, their expert team identified ten key trends, ranging from colourful floral arrangements to content creators capturing behind-the-scenes moments.

The report celebrates a mix of the playful and the elegant, perfectly blending the fun of contemporary celebrations with the timeless beauty of classic wedding styles.

Hitched Editor Zoe Burke said: “Compiling the annual Hitched Wedding Trends Report is truly the highlight of my year! So it was amazing to round up some incredible vendors, head to a Hitched venue and see our trend forecast come to life.

“Explaining these trends is one thing, but demonstrating them is quite another. To help our couples get a true sense of what we expect to see during wedding season next year, we decided to bring these trends to life for an exclusive photoshoot.”

The styled editorial shoot took place at the stunning Botleys Mansion, a luxurious estate that epitomises old money aesthetics, where the grand surroundings created the perfect backdrop for showcasing these top trends.

Zoe explained how the mansion’s stately interiors played off the modern, playful details beautifully: "We knew our trends would be full of colourful and playful elements, and I loved how the juxtaposition between the grand venue and the flirty dresses made everything pop."

My Designs: The Perfect Fit for 2025’s Wedding Trends

Hitched chose my birdcage veils and padded headbands to feature in several key looks throughout the shoot, styled to perfection by the incredible Peta Hunt. Whether it was a mini dress or a sleek and sparkling bridal gown, my accessories added that final touch of chic sophistication, perfectly balancing bold playful fashion choices with a nod to classic bridal elegance.

Versatile Styling From Day to Night

For one key look stylist Peta Hunt picked two of my designs to wear together - the simple slim Robyn Merry Widow headband veil which nestled beautifully (and easily) underneath my Angelica crystal encrusted padded headband to create an exquisite old money aesthetic which perfectly matched the stunning long gown.

To take this timelessly elegant look from day to night our model simply removed the long overskirt to reveal a hidden mini dress, lifted off the Robyn headband veil, replaced her Angelica headband and added a pair of playful love heart white sunglasses ready to party the night away.
